These terms are between you (the business that signs up) and Lynx Solutions, which provides FlowDesk. By creating a workspace you accept them on behalf of your business.
The service
FlowDesk is software for running field service work: tickets, scheduling, a field app, estimates, invoices, stock and reports. We host it, keep it running, back it up every night and improve it over time. We may change features; we will tell you in advance before removing anything you rely on.
Your trial
A new workspace is free for 14 days. We do not ask for a card. When the trial ends we email the first invoice for the seats and add-ons you have; the service continues while that invoice is open until its due date.
Prices and paying
- Prices are per seat, per month, in New Zealand dollars (Australian workspaces: as shown at sign-up), excluding GST, as listed on our pricing page.
- Invoices are paid by bank transfer by their due date. If an invoice stays unpaid, we send reminders; after the due date the workspace becomes read-only, and later it is stopped until it is paid. Your data is not deleted for non-payment.
- We give at least 30 days’ notice of any price change.
Your data
Everything you put into FlowDesk stays yours. We use it only to provide the service to you, never to advertise or to sell. You can export it at any time. Our privacy notice explains what we collect and why.
Your responsibilities
- Keep sign-ins to the people who should have them, and remove people who leave.
- Tell your technicians what FlowDesk records about them, using the notice the field app shows, and get their acceptance before tracking positions.
- Use FlowDesk lawfully, and only send customers messages they expect from you.
Leaving
You can cancel at any time from Plan in your workspace, or by email. The subscription ends with the last period you paid for (in a trial, when the trial ends). Your workspace then stays read-only for a month so you can export everything; after that it is stopped and, after the notice we send you, deleted.
Liability
We take care to keep FlowDesk working and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any year is limited to what you paid us in that year, and neither of us is liable for indirect losses. FlowDesk is supplied and acquired for business purposes, so we both agree the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply, as section 43 of that Act allows.
